Thistle and That Farm offers Mommy/Daddy & Me Classes and Story Time Classes on Saturdays at 9:00 am. These classes are designed for "hands-on" learning for 2-6 year old children. These classes give young children the opportunity to learn with Mom or Dad right by their side. We teach basic horsemanship, grooming, leading, and safety using our minature horses. The classes end with the grooming and tacking of one of our special riding ponies for a fun-filled ride around our outdoor arena. Story Time takes place once a month in-lieu of Mommy/Daddy & Me classes and is a great break from the "hands-on" learning. We read "farm-themed" seasonal and age appropriate books in a lovely location on our farm. Home-made snacks are included in every class.
